Friday 3/10: Mobbluz at Kimmel
For anyone who hasn’t yet heard: The Kimmel Center has free live music on Fridays at happy hour! The last show in this series that us concertgoers at XPN attended was a lovely two-set performance by R&B crooner Taylor Kelly, and it was the perfect way to start off a weekend (full of other live music events). Local hip-hop / funk grooverriders Mobbluz are up next this Friday, so catch that next train home and make your way to South Broad street after work. Mobbluz band leader / drummer M.D. tells us that the show features a collaboration with ePOP Philly combining hip-hop and opera for a unique and fun night. // 4:30 p.m., Free, AA
